About Us
Our lamps have been designed and crafted by a family that’s had a passion for woodwork since our company was first founded by Richard Cattle in 1874 on Eden Street, London. Over the years we've crafted and turned specialist woodwork for a range of customers including Aston Martin, 10 Downing Street, James Bond film sets for Pinewood Studios and Freddy Mercury, to name just a few.
Our passion for quality products and a high standard of customer care is ingrained in everything we do, and the very reason we have been in business for almost 150 years.

The Circular Form
The circular form has many great meanings; representing wholeness, unity, eternity, peacefulness and calmness.
Our timeless lamps bring warmth to any room. The light radiates around the inner sphere of the lamp, framing the bulb and brass pendant in a warm glow.
The electrical braided cord wraps around the outer sphere in an inlay holding it tightly in place.
Safety and Sustainability
As is the nature of wood, no one piece is ever the same. Every one of our lamps is beautifully unique with its own identity, and available in Oak or Walnut. All of our lamps are hand sanded and finished in a light coating of oil to provide protection whilst still retaining a natural look and feel.
Our wood doesn't just look and feel good. Every piece we use is FSC-certified, which provides us and our customers with the reassurance that it has come from a sustainable and responsible source.
The electrical parts we use are bought in the UK and tested for safety.
All of our lamps are made to last the test of time.
